Managment

  • The Management of FISHFED vested with the Management Committee in accordance with the provision of the O.C.S. Act 1962, OCS Rules 1965, OCS (Election to the Committee) Rules, 1992, and Bye-laws as amended from time to time and instructions issued by the State Cooperative Election Commission, Odisha.
  • The term of the Committee of Management shall be five years from the date of election of the President of the Management Committee.

  • Management Committee consists of 21 members (excluding the co-opted members) as per the OCS Act & Rules
  • 21 members elected from the members  societies
  • The President and the Vice-President elected from the elected 21 members
  • The term of the elected Management Committee formed on dt.26.02.2023
  • As per OCS Act-1962, Form no.V,Rule-14 Smt. Sasmita Rout elected as President of Odisha Fisheries Cooperative Corporation Ltd (FISHFED). Sri Subrat Dash .Additional Director of Fisheries(Technical) is functioning as Managing Director, FISHFED.

GENERAL BODY

  • Supreme Authority shall vest with General Body of the Corporation, provided that nothing in this bye- laws shall effect the power of Committee or any officer conferred under the Act, Rules or Bye-Laws.
  • The General Body of Corporation shall consist of the Board member of the FISHFED and President or Vice –President or representative of affiliated Member Society (CFCS & PFCS ) and the Govt. nominees and heads of the local authorities or other body corporate, if any.
