  • Registration no. 1CTC(F) dated 14.08.1989.
  • Area of operation confined to the whole state of Odisha.
  • Marketing of fish & fishery products of PFCS hygienically.
  • Imparting Skill up-gradation training to Fishers and members of Fishery Cooperative Societies.
  • Management of Fish Landing Centers & Jetties of the State.
  • Raising of funds required for business from Financing Institutions, Govt. and  other Statutory bodies etc. for implementation of various programs.
  • Establishing Diesel Outlets at Fishing Base or any other place for supply of fuel  to Boats/ Trawlers.
  • Facilitating Reservoir Fisheries programme  for production enhancement.
  • Entering into Fish on Wheel/Mobile Van business for providing ready to eat items to the Consumers of the State.
  • Establishing Modern Hygienic Fish Selling KIOSK/Fish Retail Outlets in the State for the interest of the Consumers.
  • Securing Socio Economic interest & welfare of PFCS Members

    • FISHFED is only Apex Society  of Fisheries Sector of the State under Three Tier System of Cooperative Structure.
    • 391 Primary Fisheries Cooperative Societies(PFCSs) and 5 Central Fisheries Cooperative Societies(CFCS) are enrolled as members / affiliated with  the FISHFED
